These one-of-a-kind couture bags are made of vintage books shaped into conversation pieces for the fashion nonconformist. Every Signature M bag is designed with a unique concept - an interpretation of the past and present fused into one magnificent creation. "The Signature M Collection is designed exclusively for women that can appreciate the fine craftsmanship and collectible value of the hand bags as well as the accessory appeal" says, Mistie Dawn, Chief Designer and President, Signature M, Inc.

All Signature M bags are adorned with a variety of luxurious fabrics, a rare melange of specialty papers, exotic prints, feathers, vintage broaches and other fine appliques. Each piece is furnished with a solid brass plate that indicates the number, date and signature for authenticity.

Honoring her love of classic periods, Mistie adds a lavender sachet inside the silk or satin lining of each bag for a signature scent. Never duplicated, always hand-made - each bag is an original work of art. Prices range from $200 to $700 and special custom design bags start at $800.

Mistie Dawn graduated with a Suma Cum Laude Degree in Fine Arts. Her professional experience includes working as a sales person at Sky Gallery and as a freelance sculptor for Michael Miller, Inc. She also spent time working in sales and marketing for Oxygen Media and The Walt Disney Co. Mistie and her design team create the entire collection at her design studio in Brooklyn, NY.
